My work is produced on boxed canvas (approximately 16”x20”) using acrylic paint. The paintings are made up of squares and rectangles, separated by thin black lines. These black lines run around the outside of the canvas, framing the whole painting. They also separate each panel of colour creating a geometric stain-glass window effect.

Each panel of colour has a different textured surface, which produces depth in the paintings. The majority of my paintings incorporate bright, lively colours that stand out against the black lines. I frequently mix my own colours to make each painting unique.

The titles refer to situations, emotions, places, people and songs that are significant to me.
